Multimedia is a systematic tool used to combine both media and content through various forms such as text, audio, video, animation, interactive features and still images in various ways and combinations made possible through advancement of technology (Womack, 2014). I get so tired of trying to read all of my stories off of my computer, so what I do is just watch the video or just listen to the video and take it from there. Smartphone penetration has reached unprecedented levels…the demand for Multimedia Messaging is much greater than ever before. Customers with smartphones are greatly encouraged to combine text, audio, images, and videos knowing that the Interop Technologies MMSC can seamlessly support multimedia messaging across your growing pool of devices (Interop Technologies, 2015).

Communication has been inexistence since the world began. The goal of communication is to convey meaning and information between people. The amount of people is not in question, just the information flowing between those individuals. But what enhances communication is one person speaking to another person and that person speaking in return. The person who initiates the conversation will have employed the methods which were available to enhance the communication and make it as effective as possible (Tannenbaun, 2000). Multimedia presentation is fundamentally no different than any other form of human communication; ideas and information are being transmitted between human beings, is also known as “linear communication.” Claude Shannon and Warren Weaver created the linear model of communication. Shannon and Weaver go into very deep detail as to how the communication operates or channels information. We all should certainly know that the methods work: there is the sender who created the message; Encoding: thoughts turn into messages through the creation of content and symbols; message: transmitted information; Channel: medium message passes through; Receiver: The person who is targeted to receive the message; and Noise: interference of transmission of the message (Communication Studies, 2015).

When you need to quickly show off a vast array of what you can accomplish with the PDF, there is on easier way than in a PDF portfolio. The Washington Post showcased a profile of President Barack Obama on the campaign trail to the White House. The PDF portfolio made President Obama’s campaign different and more creative than any other campaign in history. No other president nor politician has ever used social media to kick off their campaign. Not only did he use television, he also used internet, twitter, facebook, myspace, text messaging and the basic maneuver word of mouth.
